Semnox Solutions, a technology provider for the entertainment and amusement industry, and Uplay are celebrating their first year of collaboration, which includes six completed projects in the Netherlands and Belgium.
The partnership leverages Semnox’s venue management and cashless technology with Uplay’s expertise in the local amusement and arcade markets. Together, they help operators improve venue operations, boost guest experiences, and build a scalable technological foundation for future growth.
“Over the past year, our collaboration with Semnox has grown into a strong partnership built on trust, shared commitment and a common goal of delivering the best experience for our customers,” says Nick Geefshuijsen, founder and managing director of Uplay.

“Together, we’ve completed more than six projects, with many more in the pipeline, and it’s rewarding to see both our teams and our customers benefiting from the partnership.
"The combination of a reliable platform, responsive support and open collaboration has made this relationship a real success, and we’re excited about what we can achieve together in the years ahead.”
Combining innovative products with local expertise
The relationship started around IAAPA Expo Europe in 2025 and rapidly progressed with the opening of Pop Culture Arcade in Nijmegen, Semnox’s first site in the Netherlands. The venue adopted Semnox’s Parafait platform, featuring 35 cashless arcade game readers and a self-service kiosk, with local support from Uplay.
The companies have broadened their scope to include additional entertainment concepts, such as Arcade by Glow Golf in the Netherlands and Nexus in Bruges, Belgium. Each project adopts a scalable approach, combining Semnox technology with Uplay’s local delivery, tailored to each venue’s needs.
Entering Belgium also broadens the partnership beyond the initial market, as the companies aim to increase their presence throughout the Benelux region.
“The success of the past year demonstrates the value of combining innovative products with strong local partnerships,” says Vinayaka Kamath, business head for Europe at Semnox Solutions.
“Our goal is not only to deliver technology for opening day, but to continue expanding capabilities as each operator’s needs evolve. We look forward to growing with Uplay, delivering more projects across the region and building on this success in the years ahead.”

The ongoing development is already becoming evident. Semnox and Uplay are collaborating on leaderboard-driven experiences designed to enhance competitive play and guest engagement.
Although these concepts are still in progress and not yet implemented, they demonstrate the partnership’s commitment to gradually expanding features and helping operators maintain fresh, engaging experiences as they grow.
Semnox and Uplay will both be present at IAAPA Expo Europe 2026, taking place in London from 21 - 25 September, and will be on hand to discuss their partnership and how their joint capabilities can benefit operators across the region.
Earlier this year, Semnox Solutions teamed up with K&K Adventure Zone, a new indoor entertainment centre with multiple attractions in Prince Frederick, Maryland.
