Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies in Tennessee is launching glass bottom boat tours.
Only 3 inches of glass will separate guests from the creatures below them, including 12 foot sharks.
The Glass Bottom Boat Adventure takes visitors out on Shark Lagoon, home to over 85,000 aquatic animals.
Sightings could include Sally the sea turtle, sand tiger sharks, nurse sharks, sawfish and many more.
Ripley’s boat is reportedly only the second of its kind in the country.
Tours will take 20 people out at a time for a 20 minute tour. Guides will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.
