Vancouver Aquarium introduce Halloween After Hours event for adults

News
Vancouver Aquarium Halloween evening for adults

Vancouver Aquarium will host an after-hours adults-only event showcasing the scarier side of the ocean this Halloween.

The event, called “After Hours”, will take place on the 31st October between 6 and 10pm.

The aquarium will showcase goblin sharks, skeleton shrimp, bloodworms, vampire squid, and many others.

The annual event will include cocktails as well as entertainment. There will be Penguin Walks, an adult puppet show and screenings of the Shark 4D Experience.

There will also be a costume competition with awards for best costume, best group costume, and best aquatic-themed costume.

Tickets are priced at $27 for members, $35 for non-members.

Many museums and cultural venues are opening up after hours for adult-orientated events. Culture24 is leading the way in “Museum Lates” in the UK with their upcoming Otherworld festival.
