Blue Motion Games, a developer of motion-based arcade attractions for family entertainment centres, amusement venues, and other location-based entertainment destinations, released John Wick: Continental Pursuit earlier this year in collaboration with Lionsgate.
Since its June debut, a landmark rollout agreement has placed the machine in a major US chain with locations nationwide. The milestone comes less than two years after Blue Motion Games launched its first titles, expanding its portfolio to three games available across North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
The company focuses on creating games that keep visitors coming back long after launch. Founded by Salim Sabbagha and Alexander Mercon, it combines over 20 years of amusement industry experience with a fresh perspective on arcade gaming.
Its Montréal-based team develops every game in-house, bringing together expertise in design, programming, UX and product development.
Games developed in-house
John Wick: Continental Pursuit was developed in partnership with Lionsgate; this two-player motion shooter follows John Wick as he takes on a contract across three cities: New York, Miami, and Guanajuato. Players sit side by side in 3DOF motion seats and use force-feedback blasters.
The game is built around branching routes. Each level includes multiple paths, meaning one playthrough won’t reveal everything. This encourages players to return for the routes they missed and aim for a higher spot on the leaderboard.
For operators, that translates into more repeat plays from the same guests and a game that stays popular on the floor well beyond launch.

The company also offers Desert Chase, a multiplayer motion ride set in a post-apocalyptic desert. It features 3DOF motion seats, force-feedback guns, surround sound, and wind effects, and comes in four-player and two-player versions.
The third game in the Blue Motion Games portfolio is CannonBall Jam. This head-to-head ticket-redemption game is set in a wacky, colourful world where players blast through levels using real mechanical ball-launching cannons. It also comes in two- and four-player versions.
Designed for replayability and ROI
For Blue Motion Games, a game’s success is measured by whether players return for more.
"The Desert Chase motion, visuals and sound effects make you feel like you're driving through the dunes with a real truck," says Yury Putnin, owner of Funhaven in Ottawa. "Our guests keep our machine busy, and many came back for a second ride the same day."
That idea carries across the entire line-up. Branching paths bring John Wick: Continental Pursuit players back to explore routes they missed, while CannonBall Jam's head-to-head format turns each round into a rematch.
Operators also influence the product line. Desert Chase and CannonBall Jam debuted as four-player cabinets in January 2025. In response to venues seeking options that take up less floor space, the studio later introduced two-player models with the same gameplay and themes.
Blue Motion Games now sells directly and through partners, including AVS Companies in North America and SEGA in Europe.
“The first play gets someone in the seat. What we really design for is the second, and the tenth. When a player walks away already planning their next run, that’s when a game earns its place on the floor," says Sabbagha, the company's co-founder and president.
