Chuck E. Cheese has opened its first family entertainment centre (FEC) in Bahrain, continuing its rapid expansion across the Middle East and internationally.

Launched in Manama at Bahrain’s Seef Mall, Chuck E. Cheese offers seating for more than 300 guests, as well as F&B, entertainment, and more than 70 games.

The company boasts more than two billion gameplays annually with more than 35,000 arcade-style games across the world. It also hosts more than one million parties every year globally.

“We are pleased to push forward with our international expansion plans and believe working with the Masbi Group team will create the perfect opportunity to successfully build and grow our portfolio across the GCC,” said Arun Barnes, COO and SVP of international at Chuck E. Cheese.

“This effort adds to our presence across other areas of the Middle East and we’re looking forward to bringing joy and lifelong memories to more guests, which is a privilege that we pride ourselves on,” he added.

Masbi Group has been busy making investments across the Middle East in recent years, and is set to open Chuck E. Cheese locations in Kuwait and Oman in the near future.

“We are proud to partner with the world’s most recognized brand in family entertainment in Bahrain. We couldn’t be more excited to open our doors here in Bahrain’s Seef Mall,” said Ahmed AlSubaie, Bahrain franchise owner.

“Partnering with CEC Entertainment has been a great experience,” he added. “The country of Bahrain consists of just over 1.5 million people of which nearly half are expatriates.”

“Chuck E. Cheese offers a unique local experience for all to enjoy through food, games, and world-renowned entertainment,” AlSubaie said.

“Our time-based play offering will provide a first-of-its-kind value proposition, to consumers in Bahrain. This is a huge differentiator from other arcades, that are a lot more expensive.”

Chuck E. Cheese, the world’s largest FEC chain, currently operates more than 500 stores in the US, as well as 90 international stores across 16 regions. The company is expanding its presence internationally and hosting franchise enquiry meetings.

CEC Entertainment, the parent company of Chuck E. Cheese, also owns the Peter Piper Pizza and Pasqually’s Pizza & Wings brands.
