Meow Wolf has revealed more information about its fourth permanent installation, opening later this year in Grapevine, Texas.
The new attraction, says Meow Wolf, is a “place of beauty and discovery”. It will be home to local vendors, a retail space and a live performance venue for music and events.
“The countdown is on to our opening this summer,” said Kelly Schwartz, general manager of Meow Wolf in Grapevine.
“We are hiring like mad and the construction barriers that have been put up at Grapevine Mills can barely hold the collective imagination within. I can’t wait for you to see what we are creating for you.”
Meow Wolf’s newest exhibition will feature more than 30 Texas-based artists, such as Dan Lam, Carlos Don Juan, Yana Payusova, Tsz Kam and Sergio Garcia It includes 30 rooms for these artists across 29,000 square feet of space.
New immersive art experience

The immersive art experience in Grapevine is located within a former big-box retail store at the Grapevine Mills shopping mall in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
“Malls have been such an incredible and weird part of the American story, especially for a lot of us that grew up in the ’80s and ’90s,” said Meow Wolf founder Vince Kadlubek. “It is an exciting thought that these spaces could be filled with incredible art and immersive experiences, opening a new era of opportunity for the creative economy.”
“We felt like Meow Wolf could help lead the way,” he added.
Meow Wolf is also opening its fifth permanent exhibition in the Fifth Ward of Houston in 2024. Its third venue Convergence Station, launched in Denver in 2021. This came after the House of Eternal Return in Santa Fe and Omega Mart at AREA15 in Las Vegas.
The House of Eternal Return in Santa Fe recently unveiled three new portals by artists Lauren YS, Jacob Fisher and Virgil Ortiz.
