A new construction contractor collaboration that will accelerate projects is ready to ‘Launch’.

OE Experiences, a financial consulting and business management firm that specializes in the experience economy, has teamed up with Scenario, an international themed construction contractor, to create a new service called ‘Launch.’

Launch will provide advisory services in finance, operations, and construction programme management to identify the best viable version of a creative project, and then ‘launch’ it to the market. The Launch approach simplifies and streamlines the entire process for clients.

“The integration between OE Experiences and Scenario is a response to a need in the market to facilitate ‘idea to reality’ execution,” said Matthew Cross, founding partner and CEO of OE Experiences.

“We partner with the best creative firms in the market to bring the necessary resources to support long term success. Launch is the catalyst many projects need to get off the drawing board and into motion.”

“Broad range of expertise”

Starting last year, OE Experiences has served as the chief financial officer for Medici XD, the integrated software, ride manufacturing, and media production group launched by Chuck Fawcett and Daren Ulmer. The relationship will expand with Launch.

“Scenario’s knowledge and global resources will add immensely to our knowledge base of supply chains, production, and programme management as Medici XD seeks to offer the market the best and most cost-effective products for their needs,” says Fawcett.

“This dynamic team approach aligns with Medici XD’s philosophy of bringing a broad range of expertise together to inspire the next generation of experiences.”

Scenario USA’s VP, Dan Moalli, adds: “The ability to move big ideas quickly from concept to execution has traditionally been hampered by the need to have experienced management resources and a viable business model in place prior to funding. Launch will fill that void by providing the accelerant needed to put these entrepreneurial creative enterprises into orbit.”

Adding value

The 407: Gateway to Adventure, the experiential development owned by the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians in Sevierville, Tennessee, is another project where Launch has debuted. Managing budget, an RFP process, and contract standards on a $250 million project across 200 acres provides the perfect environment for Scenario to add value to OE Experience’s development support services.

“As part of the Kajima Corporation, Scenario has a deep portfolio of attraction projects it has delivered on a turnkey basis. Our early engagement in programme management brings this experience to bear at the right time to ensure a project will achieve its business goals, in concert with its creative ambitions.”

The partnership brings together two of the industry’s leading firms from the finance and construction sectors. OE Experiences monetizes the experience economy, bridging the gap between the creative and financial worlds. The company serves as consultants, owners’ representatives, and co-developers for projects across location-based entertainment, immersive dining, and themed hospitality.

Scenario are industry leaders in the development, production and construction of award-winning themed environments and attractions. Scenario combines theme park production professionals with experienced international construction managers to create well-coordinated project teams across all sectors of location-based entertainment.

Both companies will be meeting creative partners and peers at the TEA Summit on 21-22 April in Anaheim, California, US.
