The inaugural products brought to market, 501 Fun, offer two technology-driven formats:Augmented Reality Darts and Interactive Darts.
Augmented Reality Darts combines automated scoring with projection technology, displaying targets, graphics, and scores directly onto the dartboard. This allows operators to offer a variety of games while retaining the physical experience of throwing real darts. Interactive Darts also provides automatic scoring, but presents the game's graphics and results onto a big-screen TV. Both formats are designed to make darts accessible to mixed-ability groups and support the social, competitive style of play increasingly found in bars and entertainment venues.
