Disney enhances guest experience with new weather intelligence app

Disney Weather Check provides customised in-park weather information

Disney has launched a new app to give guests accurate weather forecasts across Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland in California.

Powered by AccuWeather, the Disney Weather Check mobile app will provide visitors with customised in-park weather information, including real-time weather forecasts and location-specific alerts.


The app is available across Walt Disney World parks and Disneyland parks, as well as the Aulani resort in Hawaii, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort in Florida, and Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort in South Carolina.

New mobile app powered by AccuWeather

The new app includes hourly forecasts for each Disney resort, as well as AccuWeather's 'MinuteCast', which tells guests when rain or snow will start and stop at their exact GPS location over the next four hours.

Guests will be able to view AccuWeather's 'RealFeel Temperature' index, which provides more precise data, including the impact of sunshine intensity, wind speed and humidity.

Additionally, visitors will have the ability to track their UV exposure by the hour.
