The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex has partnered with the Jim Henson Company on a new Fraggle Rock-themed live show.
Fraggle Rock: A Space-y Adventure is a musical and educational live show opening on 22 December at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
The production brings together Jim Henson's Fraggles with NASA's real-life space explorers.
During the show, Gobo, Red, Uncle Travelling Matt and Cotterpin Doozer take a comedic quest, learning about NASA's Artemis missions and talking with a real astronaut from the International Space Station.
Therrin Protze, chief operating officer at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, said the show "celebrates the joy of discovery and the spirit of curiosity that has always defined the NASA story".
Fraggle Rock: A Space-y Adventure will "inspire dreamers of all ages to look up, explore, and picture their own place among the stars", he added.
The production features full-body costumed "walkaround" versions of the Fraggles and puppet versions of the Doozers, all made by Jim Henson's Creature Shop.

"Fans of all ages will be able to see Uncle Travelling Matt, Red, Gobo and Cotterpin Doozer live and in person,” said John Tartaglia, the show’s director, writer, and choreographer, and the Jim Henson Company’s creative supervisor for Fraggle Rock.
"Fraggle Rock has always embraced the idea that anything is possible when we work together and celebrate our interconnected world, and NASA is such an incredible example of that idea.
"With our Fraggles and Doozers meeting new friends from NASA, there will be music, comedy, and so much to explore."
The show is included with admission to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and will be performed twice daily in the Universe Theater.
From 21–30 December, the attraction will also offer a special character breakfast featuring the stars of Fraggle Rock: A Space-y Adventure.
Fraggle Rock: A Space-y Adventure is produced and designed by The Producers Group.
