Jurassic World The Experience at Cloud Forest, Gardens by the Bay Aviary Attack

NEON, a global experience entertainment company, and Universal Live Entertainment have revealed that Jurassic World: The Experience is set to open at Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore on 29 May.

The Jurassic World movie franchise from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment will be brought to life with full-sized animatronic and sculpted dinosaurs, set in the iconic attraction’s leafy, cool conservatory.

Interactive, educational experience

The experience brings to life iconic moments from the Jurassic World franchise’s movies through advanced animatronics and interactive exhibits.

Highlight of the experience include:

  • An 8.5 metre tall Brachiosaurus. This towering dinosaur welcomes guests at the entrance.
  • An exciting encounter with a Tyrannosaurus rex.
  • A petting zoo area where guests can interact with baby dinosaurs.
  • Tiny and mysterious Composognathus, or “Compys”, which visitors can discover among the garden pathways.

Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay emulates the cool-moist climate of Tropical Montane regions, which range from 1,000 metres to 3,500 metres above sea level.

The venue is home to over 72,000 plants, and more than 50 of its species date back to the Jurassic period, for example, ferns, cycads and conifers. Guests will explore the intricate connections between past and present ecosystems and learn how these plants are still thriving.

Exclusive Cloud Forest content

At Cloud Forest, the experience will include the exclusive Evolution Walk. Here, guests can journey back to a time before dinosaurs and discover the ancient plants that existed long before flowering species. Evolution Walk showcases reconstructions of ancient species that are now extinct and illustrates the evolution of plants.

Ron Tan, executive chairman and group CEO, NEON, says: “We are thrilled to bring Jurassic World: The Experience to the Cloud Forest, one of the most iconic venues here in Singapore.

“In collaboration with Universal Live Entertainment, Gardens by the Bay, and our valued partners, this world-class experience exemplifies NEON’s commitment to delivering immersive and innovative experiential entertainment that captivate audiences of all ages. The seamless integration of cinematic storytelling with the natural beauty of Cloud Forest creates a truly unique and memorable journey for all visitors.

“We look forward to welcoming fans and friends from Singapore and beyond to step into the world of Jurassic and engage with this extraordinary experience in a truly iconic setting.”

“Following the highly successful Avatar: The Experience in 2023, Cloud Forest will once again play host to another immersive blockbuster show as part of Gardens by the Bay’s SG60 offerings,” says Felix Loh, CEO of Gardens by the Bay.

“Besides life-sized dinosaurs roaming the mist-shrouded landscape, which will captivate visitors of all ages, what sets Gardens by the Bay’s edition apart is a world-first educational showcase. Here, visitors will learn how prehistoric ecosystems once shaped our planet within the setting of a Cloud Forest, and the fascinating way plants have evolved through millions of years from the Jurassic period.”

Recently, NEON celebrated a successful press conference in Tokyo, Japan, ahead of the Asia launch of its Ramses the Great exhibition. The immersive exhibition, which runs in Tokyo through 7 September, offers a view of the life and achievements of Ramses II, also known as Ramses the Great.
