LCI Productions, a leading multimedia show design and production company, has secured a five-year contract to keep designing and delivering Windsor Great Park Illuminated, one of the UK’s top seasonal light trail experiences.
Building on the success of earlier editions, LCI Productions will return to develop the next phase of the popular immersive experience, introducing new installations, cutting-edge technologies, and fresh storytelling to the trail in the coming years.
Located in Windsor Great Park's historic landscape, the 1.2km illuminated trail is a seasonal favourite for visitors. It blends advanced AV technology, immersive storytelling, and creative design to transform the natural setting at night.
This year, LCI Productions will present the most extensive lineup of new installations and interactive experiences since the trail's inception, featuring new characters, expanded narratives, and multisensory environments crafted to surprise both returning visitors and newcomers.
Levelling up each year
The 2025 edition introduced several major new experiences: a 24-metre custom-built illuminated train greeting guests at the entrance, a reimagined Laser Gardens experience, and an expanded water programme showcasing contemporary digital artworks projected onto a large waterscreen.

Returning visitors will find a refreshed storyline running through the trail, featuring new immersive moments, holographic scenes, and interactive environments, alongside familiar favourites. The experience ends with a water show that includes choreographed fountains, lighting, and waterscreen projections.
The trail blends original characters, storytelling-driven design, and technology to craft a completely immersive guest experience.
LCI’s in-house team of designers, animators, concept artists, and technologists has integrated technologies such as holofans, lasers, dynamic LED environments, haze holograms, water projections, and large scenic structures to deliver a seamless multisensory journey.
Kathryn Stafford, senior event manager at MARI, says: “LCI continuously levels up the trail year after year, so securing our partnership with them for another five years was an easy decision.
"Each year we want to go bigger and bolder than the previous one, and somehow LCI manages to achieve that every year. We’re incredibly excited about what the next five years will bring.”

Rob Paul, design director at LCI Productions, adds: “It’s an honour to continue working so closely with MARI and The Crown Estate to deliver Windsor Great Park Illuminated.
"The trail has become a real seasonal favourite, and we’re proud of the role we play in creating memorable experiences for visitors year after year.
“This year we’re introducing new characters, technologies and immersive moments, with some exciting plans ahead to continue evolving the experience and give returning visitors something new to discover.”
In the summer, LCI Productions also signed a three-year contract to produce Port Lympne Safari Park’s annual light trail, Port Lympne Illuminated. Building on last year’s successful debut, LCI will return to create a more developed, larger-scale trail experience for 2026.
