Magic Memories, a global leader in experience capture for the attractions industry, has designed a new multi-layer guest experience with its long-standing partner, the world-renowned Game of Thrones Studio Tour.
The brand-new Dragon Ride Experience is set to elevate fan immersion to unprecedented levels.
This new attraction utilises advanced green screen video technology, enabling visitors to ride a dragon and soar over the breathtaking landscapes of Westeros.
Guests will experience the thrill of flight enhanced by stunning visuals and cinematic effects that recreate one of the most memorable scenes from HBO’s popular series.
Cutting-edge VFX
"This is an exciting new addition to the Studio Tour, one that gives fans the chance to step into Jon Snow or Daenerys Targaryen’s shoes – quite literally – and ride a dragon,” says Amy Houston, marketing manager at Game of Thrones Studio Tour.
“We’re always looking for innovative ways to bring Game of Thrones to life, and this ride is sure to become a must-do experience for all our visitors.”
Shaun Moroney, business development director at Magic Memories, adds: "We’re incredibly proud to expand our partnership with the Game of Thrones Studio Tour through this one-of-a-kind Dragon Ride Experience using our state-of-the-art VFX.
"Our goal has always been to create unforgettable moments for guests, and this attraction pushes the boundaries of what immersive storytelling can be. Fans won’t just witness the world of Westeros—they’ll live it.”
Last year, Magic Memories unveiled details of its extended collaboration with Layered Reality to enhance the visitor experience at Jeff Wayne’s The War of The Worlds: The Immersive Experience in London. This follows its work with Layered Reality's immersive attraction, Gunpowder Plot: A Tower of London Immersive Experience.
With this extended partnership, the two firms will offer guests new ways to capture and share memorable moments from their visits.
