A leading visitor attraction and exhibition design consultancy, Mather & Co has worked on a number of renowned projects around the world, including The Silverstone Experience,
Downton Abbey: The Exhibition, The Olympic Museum, The National Football Museum, All England Lawn Tennis Association, St. Albans Cathedral, The Royal Mint Experience and more. The company has also created visitor experiences for some of the world’s best-known football clubs, such as Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea.
The team at Mather & Co provides a full-service package, taking concepts from the initial idea stage to create a complete visitor experience, including master planning, exhibition design, retail, branding, theming and more.
Recently, Mather & Co has been announced by the Highland Council as the successful exhibition designer for a new project at Inverness Castle, which will include the transformation of the landmark and the development of the ‘Spirit of the Highlands’ project. Celebrating and interpreting the ‘Spirit of the Highlands’ in 100 Stories will be the core theme of the visitor experience. The project aims to create a gateway for Highland tourism, contributing to the reinvigoration of tourism across the area.

Before creating Mather & Co, Chris Mather was also a Design Director for Granada Television, where he worked for 8 years. In this role, he was responsible for developing and managing the original Coronation Street experience as part of the Granada Studios Tour. He has a law degree from the University of Leicester.
