accesso, premier technology solutions provider to the leisure industry, has been chosen by One World Observatory to handle its ticketing and eCommerce.
The venue will be utilising the accesso Passport® ticketing suite as part of a three-year agreement with the venue’s operator, Legends Hospitality.
The three-story Observatory atop the One World Trade Centre opened in May and has recently welcomed its one millionth guest. The venue gives visitors spectacular, panoramic views of New York City and features the fastest lifts in the world which propel visitors through 100 floors in around 60 seconds.
John Urban, General Manager of One World Observatory and Vice President with Legends Hospitality said accesso passport was ‘the perfect fit’ for the Observatory: “It gives us a dynamic platform that streamlines our operations across a wide variety of sales channels and provides a first class experience for our guests from around the world.”
Over 960 attractions and venues across the globe currently use accesso technology – its payment gateway has processed more than $5 billion in transactions.
“Sophisticated operators like Legends Hospitality demand flexible solutions that keep pace with ever changing consumer buying behaviours, ” commented Steve Brown, accesso Chief Operating Officer for North America and Europe. “We are excited to work with Legends and honoured to play a role in helping introduce this symbol of resilience and healing to New York City."
