News

Gateway Ticketing Systems, the world leader in admission control and ticketing software for the attraction and amusement industries, has announced its 2014 User Group Meeting.

Gateway’s annual User Group Meeting will be hosted by The Denver Museum of Nature and Science (DMNS) at the Denver Grand Hyatt in downtown Denver from August 11-14, 2014.

The User Group Meeting is a high point of the year for Gateway staff, presenting a valuable opportunity to focus on customer relationships and gather important feedback from users.

Gateway Marketing Manager and UGM organizer, Tricia Szurgot , said, “We’re thrilled to have The Denver Museum of Nature and Science host this year’s meeting.  They’re not just a cutting-edge cultural and educational venue, they’re a valuable and knowledgeable customer with whom we’ve enjoyed close to ten years of partnership – the Museum will be a wonderful partner for the User Group Meeting!”

Eric Boen, Director of Technology at DMNS, agreed, “We are very much looking forward to welcoming our fellow Galaxy users to Denver and to the Museum during this year’s User Group Meeting. The exchange of information among UGM attendees has been a wonderful resource at past meetings and we are excited to be able to host the social event and add our venue to the sites that serve as both an educational resource and source of fun during the week.”

Gateway’s User Group Meetings allows users to learn how to optimise their investment in Galaxy through presentations, training sessions, interactive panels and networking.  New enhancements to Galaxy will be reviewed and customers from all sizes of venues across all industries will leave the meeting with new ideas that they can implement to maximise efficiency and revenue.

Szurgot concludes: “Providing the opportunity for both our customers and our employees to interact and learn from each other at our annual and regional UGMs is integral to creating the long-lasting partnerships we have with our customers. Our annual UGM continues to grow, because like our software products and services, we take customer feedback seriously – I look forward to seeing our customer’s input on topics and format come to fruition at UGM this year!”
