The Grand Egyptian Museum to Open Mid 2018

Egypt’s Antiquities Minister has announced that the Grand Egyptian Museum will open in mid 2018.

The Grand Egyptian Museum will be one of the biggest in the world, housing more than 100,000 artifacts showing the development of Egyptian civilization through the ages.

The museum is currently under construction.

The Minister also added that LE 2 billion is needed to be able to re-open 20 museums that are currently closed.
