RFP Ogdensburg, NY: Feasibility study for Visitor Interpretive Centre at Lighthouse Point

The City of Ogdensburg in New York, in partnership with the Fort de La Présentation Association, is considering the viability of creating a Visitor Interpretive Centre (VIC) at Lighthouse Point.

To this end, it has issued a Request for Proposals regarding a feasibility study for the project.

The role of the VIC would be to explain the site’s importance as an historic French colonial outpost and its connections to the French and Indian War, the Revolutionary War, and the War of 1812.

The City is looking for proposals from an experienced Consultant or Consultant team. The Consultant must have recent experience performing similar tourism-related feasibility studies for not-for-profit or municipal clients.

Deadline for proposals is 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2017.
