The Guardian was rather wowed by the new Design Museum, describing it as “beautifully odd” and an “exceptional achievement”.
The new enhanced Design Museum, which opens in its new £83m premises on the 24th of November celebrates, exhibits and highlights the made and the visual.
Based in West London’s Kensington High Street the museum project has involved a number of high profile creative talents, including minimalist designer John Pawson (who created the museum’s interior) and Rem Koolhaas‘ renowned architecture firm OMA which masterplanned the building and designed the luxury flats which are a vital part of making it viable proposition.
