The Museum of Illusions is heading to Las Vegas, with its largest attraction to date due to open in early spring 2023.

Construction of the 15,274-square-foot museum on the Las Vegas Strip has started. It is located within the 63 retail complex.

The new Museum of Illusions is designed for visitors of all ages, offering classic and unique attractions from optical illusions and 3D holograms to mind-bending exhibits and interactive illusion rooms.

“We’ve had our sights set on bringing Museum of Illusions to Las Vegas for some time now, all the while knowing we’d have to create something really special in order to make our presence known in this market,” said Jonathan Benjamin, CEO of Museum of Illusions.

“As masters at what we do in the realm of edutainment, what we have in store for this Vegas museum will add something really unique to this bustling city for both locals and tourists alike to enjoy, ultimately upping the ante for our brand as we continue expanding our global footprint.”

The Museum of Illusions currently boasts a portfolio of 37 museums across 25 countries in major cities such as Paris, New York, Dubai and Dallas. It aims to have 100 venues across the globe by the end of 2026.

In addition to the Las Vegas museum, the brand is set to open new locations in Charlotte (North Carolina), Scottsdale (Arizona), Atlanta (Georgia), Austin (Texas), Denver (Colorado), Minneapolis (Minnesota) and Washington, DC

“We will invariably look for areas that are city centres where there is a lot of activity and a range of other types of entertainment facilities,” Benjamin told blooloop.

“It has to be somewhere likely to appeal to people as a destination for tourists, and for people outside the area, somewhere with conventions, hotels, and shopping.”
