National Geographic’s giant-screen film “Mysteries of the Unseen World” was named a finalist in the 3-D and Science categories for this year’s Wildscreen Panda Awards.
The 40-minute film uses the latest technology to reveal objects and events that are all around us but which are beyond our normal vision.
Narrated by actor Forest Whitaker, “Mysteries of the Unseen World” is an original production by National Geographic and Day’s End Pictures.
The film has been specially created for giant-screen viewing and is available in 3-D and 2-D, 15/70 and digital formats.
Commenting on the award, Mark Katz, president of distribution at National Geographic Cinema Ventures, said, “This film exemplifies National Geographic’s dedication to creating films that inspire people with the wonder and possibilities of science. We are honored to have this film be selected as a finalist in both the 3-D and Science categories for this year’s Panda Awards.”
