Disney has announced changes moving DCP’s global licensing and publishing businesses into Disney Entertainment – Studios

From 4 October 2026, Disney is moving most of its Disney Consumer Products (DCP) business from Disney Experiences to Disney Entertainment.

The restructuring moves DCP’s global licensing and publishing businesses into Disney Entertainment – Studios. Disney parks merchandise, Disney Store and DisneyStore.com will remain within Disney Experiences.


The changes were announced by Disney Experiences chairman Thomas Mazloum and Disney Entertainment – Studios chairman Alan Bergman.

As part of the transition, Cathleen Taff has been named president of Disney Entertainment – Studios and Consumer Products, reporting to Bergman.

She will lead the incoming DCP licensing and publishing businesses while continuing to oversee production services, franchise management and theatrical distribution for the Walt Disney Studios. She will also continue to lead Disney Theatrical Group and Disney Music Group.

"As we bring Disney Consumer Products’ licensing and publishing businesses into Disney Entertainment, there’s no one better suited to guide this next chapter.

New leadership roles

"She understands how to connect our stories and franchises to the ways fans experience them, and she’ll ensure these businesses continue to grow with the same focus and excellence she’s brought to Studios."

Meanwhile, Lisa Baldzicki will continue to lead the Disney parks merchandise business, with expanded responsibility for global parks merchandise and Disney’s owned-and-operated retail businesses, including Disney Store locations worldwide and DisneyStore.com.

Baldzicki will move into the newly created role of executive vice president of global experience and innovation for Disney Experiences, reporting to Mazloum.

“Lisa is a proven leader who brings together industry expertise, strategic vision, and a genuine passion for Disney storytelling,” said Mazloum.

The changes follow a series of leadership appointments at Disney Experiences announced in May. Joe Schott was named president of Walt Disney World, while Natacha Rafalski moved from Disneyland Paris to lead Disney Signature Experiences and Christophe Murphy became president of Disneyland Paris.
