Ocean Park Hong Kong is enhancing its Halloween experience for 2026 in partnership with Jackson Wang's Under the Castle brand.
Under the Castle is an original multimedia horror-fantasy intellectual property (IP) created by Team Wang Design, the fashion and lifestyle brand co-founded by Hong Kong rapper and singer Jackson Wang, also a member of South Korean boy band Got7.
Ocean Park Hong Kong said the collaboration is set to reinvent its Halloween event by "seamlessly blending high-fashion gothic horror with immersive terror".
Per a press release, a dark force will descend upon Ocean Park as "a mysterious ancient castle rises from the mist".
Guests will get to explore the castle's "shadowy halls" and travel through "a gloomy nightmare-scape" inspired by Under the Castle's signature dark and gothic aesthetic.
Ocean Park Hong Kong will also provide themed F&B offerings, game booths and exclusive merchandise across the Under the Castle zone.
Universal Studios Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa previously teamed up with Wang on an Under the Castle haunted house for Halloween Horror Nights 2024.
Expanding Halloween events
In recent years, operators in the attractions industry have significantly expanded investment in Halloween events, which attract huge crowds and boost seasonal profits.
Theme parks and other sites are increasingly innovating; turning to big brands, highly themed F&B and merchandise, and extreme experiences.
Universal Studios Japan, for example, is adding an intense attraction to this year's Halloween Horror Nights exclusively for guests aged 18 and over.
The new experience is the first attraction in the history of Halloween Horror Nights to be restricted to visitors over the age of 18.
