PGAV, a global leader in the planning and design of unique destinations, is launching a dedicated international presence, positioning the company to serve rapidly growing markets for immersive destinations, cultural institutions, and experience-led tourism in the Middle East and China.

For decades, PGAV has worked with clients worldwide from its US studios. This expansion marks an intentional commitment to sustained, on-the-ground global engagement.

By strengthening its international presence, the company will enrich collaborations, enhance accessibility, and offer greater regional insight during all phases of development.

Greater continuity & collaboration

PGAV’s expanded presence will primarily be established in the Middle East, with a particular focus on Abu Dhabi.

This region was chosen due to longstanding client relationships, recent successful projects, and a positive outlook for continued cultural and experiential growth.

The expansion will be led by PGAV principal John Kasman.

A highly experienced leader in global design, Kasman will be the primary point of contact for clients, aligning strategic planning, creative direction, and multidisciplinary collaboration across intricate, large-scale projects.

"This is the right moment for PGAV Destinations to establish a sustained presence in the Middle East and Asia," says Kasman.

"As destinations across these markets accelerate plans for innovative immersive environments and next-generation guest experiences, being closer to our clients allows us to bring greater continuity, regional understanding, and creative alignment to increasingly ambitious projects."

This move builds on PGAV’s extensive legacy of global partnerships, including major projects such as SeaWorld Yas Island in Abu Dhabi and Chimelong Ocean Kingdom in China.

Earlier this month, PGAV announced that it is leading master planning and concept development for the relocation of Fantasilandia in Chile, including both the theme park and an accompanying water park.

The attraction is moving to a larger site in San Bernardo, after being located in Parque O’Higgins for almost 50 years.
