Surf Snowdonia has announced its new brand – Adventure Parc Snowdonia – along with a number of expansion plans for 2019.
The £16 million expansion will bring nature-inspired adventure to North Wales.
Features of Adventure Parc Snowdonia include Adrenaline Indoors – an adventure experience including climbing and artificial caving. Explore Outdoors will include an off-road pump track, mountain bike skills trail, fun & fitness trail, bouldering and an adventure playground.
The “Adventure Concierge” will allow visitors to experience off-site activities including gorge walking and kayaking.
The surf lagoon will still remain an integral part of the offering – as well as glamping, campervan village and soft play area.
In 2020, they will launch new offerings. The Hilton Garden Inn will be a 106-bedroom lagoon-side hotel. A Wellness Spa will offer indoor and outdoor treatment and relaxation areas. Additionally, the company will introduce conference facilities.
The park reopens in May 2019, and the new adventures will open early summer.
Jim Jones, managing director of regional marketing body North Wales Tourism, said: “Surf Snowdonia is a transformational development that has regenerated this part of the Conwy Valley.
“It is now one of our top attractions in Wales and has contributed immensely to our dynamic regional and economic tourism profile.
“The fact that the team are looking to invest further in a new state of the art all year-round indoor attraction and hotel is further testament to the confidence of our adventure offer.”
