Compagnie des Alpes (CDA) has signed an agreement with the Turkish Ski Federation (TSF) to assess Turkey's "ski potential" and identify some promising sites for development.
CDA responded to a call to tender from TKF, and won the contract as a result of 25 years' expertise in some of France's most prestigious ski resorts.Turkey has the potential to develop a significant ski industry. Only 1 per cent of the population currently ski regularly in a country where 60 per cent of the landscape is mountainous.
