Creative Works’ new mini golf courses have the Edge

The theming company and attractions provider Creative Works recently installed the first of its Cosmic Golf mini golf courses with Electric Edging.

For New Jersey bowling centre operator Vijay Papaiya, they offer just what he needs to set Hamilton Lanes apart from the competition.

After buying Hamilton Lanes & Entertainment Center, in the state capital of Trenton, he was keen to remodel the facility by adding fresh attractions.

“I like the concept of mini golf because it’s family oriented,” says Papaiya. “Anybody from age 1 through age 90 or 100 can play.”

Electric Edging makes the difference

Best of all, none of the bowling centres he saw in New Jersey while researching the competition featured a mini golf course. Certainly none have Electric Edging. The patent-pending technology from Creative Works is made of a highly durable plastic composite material illuminated internally with LED lights.

Together with Comic Golf’s black light effects, the edging makes courses come to life in a way that’s never been seen before. Electric Edging can also be programmed to respond to triggers and DMX controls.

Two themed courses

Papaiya has installed two mini golf courses at Hamilton Lanes. One is an Egyptian themed adventure inspired by the aesthetics of Indiana Jones. The other is inspired by the lush jungles of the Avatar movie. In addition, the bowling concourse features detailed murals that encourage customers to play. A grand opening is planned soon, and the hype is building.

“The mayor stopped by here and she couldn’t believe what she got in our township,” says Papaiya .” Everybody in the town is very excited and can’t wait for it to open up soon.”
