Drone Interactive, a specialist in drone-based attractions, is working with the Fun Planet Group to bring ARCADRONE to an FEC in Rennaz.

Drone Interactive is pleased to announce that guests at the Fun Planet Family Entertainment Centre in Rennaz, Switzerland, will soon be able to enjoy its unique drone flying attraction, ARCADRONE. This follows the installation of the first ARCADRONE near Lyon and is expected to be open by the end of 2020.

“We discovered the ARCADRONE concept at the IAAPA Expo in Amsterdam in September 2018,” says Anthony Heim, Director of Fun Planet Parks.

“Since then, we have been closely following Drone Interactive’s progress on the development of this new product, which is a real revolution in the leisure park industry. In June, during our visit to the Exalto Park in Dardilly, we were finally able to discover and test the attraction. We were definitely convinced that ARCADRONE would perfectly find its place within the Fun Planet of Rennaz.”

ARCADRONE comes to Switzerland

The two companies are looking forward to bringing this innovative attraction to customers in Switzerland. ARCADRONE allows four players to fly drones within a special area, where they can take part in immersive, interactive and original games. Each drone interacts with the elements of the game and the
other drones.

The turnkey attraction has an ultra-efficient anti-collision system which ensures that the drones will not crash and the experience can be enjoyed by players aged 6 years and over.

Earlier this year, Drone Interactive announced that it is now accepting European orders for its unique drone flying attraction, ARCADRONE, and introduced a special discount for the first orders.

It has since announced that this offer will be extended to the end of the year, in response to the COVID-19 crisis. Drone Interactive quickly adapted to working remotely and was able to reorganise its working procedures to minimise disruption.
