EAG veterans lunch

Entertainment, Attractions & Gaming International Expo, the premier event for the international entertainment, attractions & gaming industries, has announced a special lunch to honour coin-op industry veterans at next year’s event.

The Entertainment, Attractions and Gaming (EAG) International Expo will be taking place from 14 – 16 January 2020 at London’s ExCeL. Organisers have announced that a special lunch will take place during the event, which will honour long-term professionals in the coin-operated games and amusements industry.

The Veterans Lunch is being organised by Coin-Op Community magazine and is open to anyone who has been in the industry for over 30 years. It will be a chance for attendees to network, socialise and discuss the latest trends in the industry.

Honouring long-standing talent

Organiser Steph Norbury says, “I am very honoured to have been asked to organise the Veterans Lunch. People have contributed to the growth of this vibrant industry so it is great that they can come together during the EAG show.

“The event is for anyone who has been involved in the industry for 30 years or more and although that doesn’t include me yet, if I have to crash my own party – so be it!”

EAG Expo Chairman Martin Burlin says, “While we are really excited by the dramatic expansion of EAG International Expo, it is really important to keep sight of all the long-serving people whose talent and inspiration has kept the coin-operated industry so buoyant and healthy. I am looking forward to attending the Veterans Lunch and catching up with many old friends.”

The Entertainment, Attractions and Gaming International Expo celebrated its 10th anniversary this year and is the coin-op and amusement industry’s leading trade event. Organisers are predicting a surge in interest from buyers of cutting-edge gaming technologies such as AR, VR and esports technology at EAG International Expo 2020, which will create exciting new opportunities.
