Embed launches Hygiene Defence product line to combat COVID-19

Embed Hygiene Defence

Embed, a leading worldwide supplier of point-of-sale and revenue management systems, has launched a new line of non-toxic hygiene protection.

Embed is proud to announce the launch of Embed Hygiene Defence, a powerful and non-toxic line of cleaning solutions for the attractions industry. The products are stronger than traditional harsh cleaners whilst also being safe and environmentally friendly.

Embed Hygiene Defence kills 99.9% of a broad spectrum of pathogens on contact, including COVID-19 as well as other viruses, airborne bacteria, fungi spores and mould.

Family-friendly cleaning solutions

“We know that a new type of customer will emerge from this pandemic and is only going to places they perceive as clean and safe,” says Renee Welsh, Embed CEO.

“This is forcing businesses to elevate their sanitation and hygiene with stricter cleaning schedules, resulting in increased frequency of cleaning, that is exposing employees and guests to higher amounts of toxic cleaning fumes (riddled with health hazards) and a higher risk of fire for the business owners.

“Family entertainment, attractions and amusement industries are family-centric businesses, so the cleaning products they use need to be family-friendly with non-toxic chemicals to protect team members and the youngest most-vulnerable of guests, children. But many industrial cleaners on the market today contain harmful chemicals that are damaging to human health, and terrible for the environment.

“So, I challenged my team, ‘how can Embed enable the industry to offer their guests ‘SAFE. CLEAN. FUN’?’ We partnered with DZSA and San-Air, based in Australia, to develop products that are stronger than harsh industrial cleaners without the toxicity.

“Embed Hygiene Defence protection is what our industry most needs now, helping our industry partners to address the new normal way of life.”

Independently tested

The complete range of Embed Hygiene Defence products is independently tested by Eurofins, a TGA licensed laboratory, UNSW and Chemsil Pty Ltd.

The products contain 100% Australian natural active ingredients and organic certified biodegradable steam-distilled essential oils. Embed Hygiene Defence lasts for four hours on surface areas, meaning that operators can keep their high-touch surfaces, such as games, door handles and kiosks, clean and safe.

Customers who buy Embed Hygiene Defence will also receive a free Creative Toolkit for use on social media, templates for email marketing and decals for use in their storefronts. This will allow them to effectively communicate with guests what they are doing to provide a safe environment, building trust as they open their doors once again.

Earlier this year, Embed also announced the launch of its new COVID-19 Resource Center, with support for operators including a Mobile Wallet launch toolkit as well as a reopening toolkit.
