KCC Entertainment Design, a leading creator of themed environments, is celebrating the opening of its latest leisure project in Switzerland.
Fun Planet Kids, a new family entertainment centre, is an extension of the existing Fun Planet in the municipality of Rennaz. Covering an area of 4,500 square metres, the end result is the biggest family activity park in the country.
Fun Planet combines a wealth of activities with a large restaurant and bar, designing a space for children that is appropriate for all the family. The themed attraction is based on an enchanted forest comprised of magical residents and guardians of the forest who accompany guests on their various adventures.
A storyline is represented using various design elements such as hand-painted walls, trees and leaves, themed decor and 3D props, providing an immersive experience to the guests of the park.
Young fun
Multiple attractions have been designed and themed to blend with the magical forest environment – the new park features a wide selection of family attractions including a caving experience, climbing nets, a climbing zone, bumper cars, music experiences and glow-in-the-dark miniature golf. Meanwhile, younger audiences will appreciate the venue’s soft play and toddler areas.
Catering for groups, Fun Planet Kids has ten party rooms and a small theatre which are ideal for birthdays and hospitality, complementing the lively ambience of the park.
KCC Entertainment Design was commissioned to improve the existing concept design as well as create technical construction drawings and work on the procurement and fit-out installation for decorative items across the park.

Last year, KCC Entertainments announced the opening of Chocolate Kingdom Theme Park near Guangzhou, China, being the company’s seventh project in the country.
