Willows Activity Farm's chief executive Andrew Wolfe has been awarded the prestigiousLifetime Achievement Award at the 2017 National Farm Attractions Network (NFAN) annual conference and awards ceremony.
Starting his career as a farm manager in Leicestershire, Andrewwent on to launch Willows Activity Farm in 2002, which has since won several awards from the tourism industry and welcomes hundreds of thousands of guests every year. Willows expanded in 2016 to accommodate the world's firstPETER RABBIT™ Adventure Playground, which has brought their success to a whole new level.
“Willows owes its success to the fantastic team of staff who strive to excel day in day out, and who make Willows the special place that it is,” he added, noting that in September 2017 he will be stepping down as chief executive.
NFAN Chairman Colin Evans, who presented the award, said“Andrew has been a father figure to many in the industry, offering his experience and advice and inviting countless numbers of farm park operators to visit his operation at Willows. He has been an active member of the NFAN committee for many years and his input will be greatly missed.”
