Valo Motion, a pioneer in combining interactive technology with physical activities, has revealed a new mixed-reality game for its acclaimed ValoJump attraction, Dunk It!
This basketball-themed game provides an immersive experience for both small kids and young adults, and turns players into slam dunk superstars.

Sophisticated gameplay technology
Dunk It! utilises ValoJump’s superior motion-tracking technology to translate player movements into game actions. In trampoline or air track games, players use their hands to catch and dunk virtual basketballs into moving hoops.
The game detects many dunk types, such as alley-oops, slam dunks, and two-handed dunks, and so encourages players to try new styles. Sticky Feet and Airdrop modes offer new and exciting gameplay options.
Dunk It!’s launch after the Paris Summer Olympics 2024 enables venues to leverage the increased interest in sports and maintain athleticism at their locations. The game appeals to basketball fans of all ages and is especially popular with children aged 8 to 12. Players can take part in competitions by using ValoJump’s two-player mode on separate units, which promotes social connection and enhances engagement.
Each session lasts up to 120 seconds. For peak times, the ValoJump offers a 90-second Rush Hour option to help operators maximise throughput. The game requires no additional staff training or hardware updates, resulting in a flawless installation procedure.
In addition, the new game has equipped the ValoJump with technology enhancements. It brings faster tracker data acquisition for enhanced gameplay, improved multiplayer synchronisation, and upgraded colour space for more accurate lighting and visuals.
