QLINE Consulting launches software RFP for National Memorial Arboretum

The UK's centre of remembrance is seeking a new booking system to elevate the guest experience

QLINE Consulting, a specialist consultancy in ticketing, tourism and technology, is inviting supplier tender responses for a new ticketing system for The National Memorial Arboretum (NMA), the UK’s year-round centre of remembrance in Alrewas, Staffordshire.

A partner is sought to deliver a new booking system that boosts operational efficiency, simplifies processes, and elevates the guest experience, all while offering proactive support from the provider.

Alongside the booking system, NMA would also be interested in seeing how an integrated CRM (ideally Microsoft Dynamics) could be used to efficiently manage guest interactions, track annual pass usage, and ensure smooth communication with customers, ultimately enhancing the overall customer experience.

The new system should be intuitive for staff, improve access to customer data, and streamline processes. It aims to decrease dependence on manual tasks, facilitate data entry for pre-booked visitors, and combine room and group bookings to provide a clear overview of the business for all users.

New system should streamline processes

Established in 2001, NMA is part of the Royal British Legion charities and covers more than 150 acres of woodland and gardens.

The Arboretum features over 400 memorials honouring individuals, communities, and organisations that have served or sacrificed in various capacities, including the Armed Forces, emergency services, and civilian groups.

Alongside its commemorative spaces, the Arboretum features exhibitions, guided walks, and educational programmes that foster reflection, learning, and understanding for visitors of all ages.

Guests can discover themed zones, seasonal trails, and interactive exhibits at the Remembrance Centre, ensuring a meaningful and accessible experience for families, schools, and groups.

The National Memorial Arboretum, grounded in remembrance and committed to engagement, strives to keep alive stories of service, sacrifice, and hope.

NMA aims to select a vendor in February 2026 for a phased implementation throughout 2026, beginning with replacing basic ticketing functionality by Easter 2026 and fully replacing the current system by June 2026.

More information is available here, and the deadline for supplier tender responses is midday on 9 January 2026.

In the summer, QLINE Consulting announced the launch of Ticketing Ready, a digital platform developed in partnership with b2me Tourism Marketing. The platform is free for attractions and helps them understand their ticketing needs better, allowing quicker, more confident engagement with vendors.
