Hasbro-powered gaming experience set to open at American Dream

World’s first Gameroom attraction debuts this month

The Gameroom Powered by Hasbro, a new entertainment centre with arcade games and more, is opening at American Dream on 26 June.

The world’s first Gameroom attraction is a 41,500-square-foot facility featuring arcade games, attractions, retail and dining โ€“ all inspired by iconic Hasbro brands.

Guests will enjoy an immersive experience with elements from brands like Battleship, Candy Land, Trivial Pursuit, Clue, Monopoly, and G.I. Joe.

“We are ecstatic to bring iconic Hasbro brands to life through this interactive family-friendly facility at American Dream,” said Bryan Gaus, senior vice president and general manager of American Dream.

โ€œThis is a canโ€™t-miss destination, captivating guests of all ages with an unforgettable experience where nostalgia meets joy.โ€

Highlights in the Gameroom include the G.I. Joe Battle Station laser tag, and the Candy Land Shake Bar โ€“ a Candy Land-themed F&B outlet for milkshakes.

Matt Proulx, senior vice president of global experiences, partnerships and music at Hasbro, said the company “has a rich 100-year legacy of creating magic through play with an iconic portfolio of beloved brands”.

Hasbro’s location-based expansion

“At the end of the day, weโ€™re in the business of play, and we strive to deliver gaming experiences that are funย toย play, funย to watch andย funย to share forย our multi-generational fanbase. Thatโ€™s exactly what weโ€™ve created with the Gameroom,” he said.

“Whether itโ€™s a round of laser tag at the G.I. Joe Battle Station for adrenaline-pumping fun or a delicious meal and drinks at the stunning Game Bar, there is something for every member of the family at the Gameroom.”

Hasbro is busy expanding its portfolio of location-based entertainment (LBE) experiences, from Peppa Pig theme parks to Nerf-themed attractions.
