Galaxy Ticketing & Guest Experience system in use at Dubai Ice Rink, Dubai Aquarium & Dig It Dubai

Gateway Ticketing Systems, a leading provider of admission control systems, has been chosen to provide ticketing solutions at three key Dubai attractions. Its Galaxy Ticketing & Guest Experience system is already in use at the iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest tower, and thanks to its success here, parent company Emaar Properties chose Prologic First Dubai to install the solution at all its leisure facilities.

Gateway’s Galaxy solution is now powering the Dubai Ice Rink and the Dubai Aquarium at the Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping and entertainment destination. It has also been implemented at Dig It Dubai, a play space based on a real-life construction site.

Meeting the client’s needs

Emaar made the decision to switch to Galaxy because it was in need of a system with tight integration between the ticketing software and other and other B2B and B2C application. Galaxy also allows the company to sell tickets in a package that spans all its business units, and then consolidate it back to Oracle financials. Galaxy is an ideal choice for companies managing multiple sites or multiple attractions.

Amit Sharda, Vice President at Gateway reseller Prologic First Dubai, is feeling positive about the partnership with Emaar:

“Emaar and the Burj Khalifa were an incredibly valuable addition to our client base in this region, and it was a proud moment for us to implement their system. But it’s an even prouder moment to have them trust us with implementing Galaxy in three of their other locations. We are delighted to support the growth of a company that is so actively supporting the growth of leisure and tourism in our region.”

“This is a perfect example of a successful partnership between Gateway Ticketing Systems and Prologic First Dubai, our partner reseller in the region,” says Peter Wolf, Director of Sales and Marketing at Gateway. “Additionally, to be part of such iconic destinations as the Burj Khalifa and the attractions at the Dubai Mall is an honour.”

Last week, Gateway announced that it is bringing its award-winning Webinar Wednesdays back for a second season.
