accesso Technology Group PLC, a leading technology provider for attractions worldwide, has announced its plans to launch its new cloud-native restaurant and retail platform and extensive upgrades to its ticketing solution at IAAPA Expo 2023.

IAAPA Expo 2023 is taking place in Orlando from 13 to 17 November. The trade show floor opens on 14 November, and delegates will be able to meet representatives from accesso at booth #5131. Meetings can be arranged by emailing sales@accesso.com.

Innovative solutions for ticketing, restaurants & retail

2023 has been a significant year for accesso, and the firm will return to the IAAPA Expo to present its new solutions.

The brand-new, cloud-native accesso Freedom Restaurant & Retail platform will make its debut at the leading industry event. accesso Freedom uses cutting-edge, cloud-hosted technology to integrate a venue’s food and retail operations.

accesso Freedom is an enterprise solution that has been used by premier venues worldwide for over 20 years. Its comprehensive features enable venues to upgrade from operator-driven sales terminals to a cutting-edge solution that enables mobile point-of-sale, self-service ordering kiosks, and mobile food ordering, among others.

Operators can use accesso Freedom’s full feature set to facilitate custom development and integrations thanks to its extensive API.

The firm continues to celebrate the addition of the accesso Horizon Ticketing & Visitor Management system, in the wake of its recent acquisition of VGS. Operators can now oversee all guest benefits, services, and entitlements from a single portfolio by using accesso Horizon.

The solution, which may be hosted in the cloud or on-premises, gives users access to an open API that allows for easy system integration. It will enable operators to maximise sales with the help of dynamic pricing, availability control, and sales channel management made possible by real-time intelligence. Furthermore, multi-venue support facilitates seamless cross-promotion and cross-packaging of offers, increasing visibility and elevating the overall guest experience.

The Psychology of Queuing

At this year’s IAAPA Expo, the firm will also showcase the most recent iteration of its acclaimed accesso Passport ticketing suite, which includes a number of upgrades which will improve user experience and operational efficiency.

A completely updated eCommerce experience, a new “brand mode” feature which positions accesso Passport performance in line with branded online store flow, enhanced payment capabilities, and new dynamic pricing functionality, are among the featured updates.

accesso virtual queuing technology provides a significant new revenue stream by taking guests away from physical lines. This enables operators to promote secondary spending across their venues and improve the overall visitor experience.

In addition, accesso CCO Andrew Jacobs is hosting a session titled The Psychology of Queuing: from Frustration to Fulfillment on Wednesday 15 November at 1.05 pm, at EDU Stage S220DE. This educational session will investigate the factors that are most important to guests when it comes to line-waiting, and how technological advances in queue management can not only reduce waiting periods but also increase guest engagement and experience.

Jacobs says: “We are excited to be back at IAAPA Expo Orlando so soon, especially during such an exciting time of growth for our global team. We’ve expanded our offerings and enhanced our capabilities, while also continuing to push the envelope on what’s possible within our existing, award-winning solution suite. We look forward to unveiling fresh and innovative approaches to address the distinctive demands of the industry at this year’s Expo.”

accesso is a Gold Global Sponsor of IAAPA’s Expos, and a Platinum Sponsor of IAAPA Expo 2023 in Orlando.

Earlier this year, accesso Technology Group PLC was named winner of the Best Exhibit category in the prestigious Brass Ring awards at IAAPA Expo Europe 2023 in Vienna.
