U.S.-based gate admissions solutions provider, Alvarado, and leading South American ticketing services provider, Tu Boleta, have partnered to provide the latest in ticketing technology at two Colombian stadiums: El Campin and Atanasio.
Tu Boleta, who administer an average of 1500 events a year, chose Alvarado to provide a gate admissions control solution that would integrate with their ticketing system and facilitate the introduction of self-service ticket scanning.
Hector Barrera, Head of Communications for Tu Boleta: ‘After a long investigative process to determine the needs of Colombian users, Tu Boleta found Alvarado to be the most experienced company in the market. Our partnership with Alvarado allows integration of Tu Boleta services with Alvarado’s sophisticated platform.’ He says that Alvarado’s development in ticketed entry (tickets, wristbands, payment codes, etc.) has enabled Tu Boleta to provide their users with the best ticketing experience and event promoters with real-time ticket payment statistics.
Alvarado’s Gatelink 10 access control platform supports a wide variety of ticketing media including print, mobile phone, wristbands and plastic cards. In line with industry trends, it also supports web-based ticket transfers and print-at-home. Alvarado’s gate admissions expert, Larry Witherspoon, says that fans and venues look for a secure and streamlined experience. He believes that specialized gate admissions products that integrate seamlessly with ticketing systems are the key: “Partnering with Tu Boleta has allowed our admissions control solutions to expand into the South American market. Our gate admissions products integrate seamlessly with ticketing systems to create the most secure and streamlined entrance experience for guests at large venues.”
