Barco, the technology company focusing on innovative visualization solutions, has announced the expansion of its projector portfolio with two additions to its G-Series line.
The G60s were introduced by Barco in 2019, allowing the firm to broaden its offering to a wider selection of market segments. Catering for everyday usage, the single-chip laser projectors were designed to be reliable whilst being uncompromising on quality. The new G62s complement the existing platform with two improved projectors for brighter results.
With their higher bandwidth and upgraded input support for HDMI2.0 and 3D SYNC, the latest additions to Barco’s portfolio are compatible with 4K input sources and able to provide HD 3D stereo. The G62s also bring enhanced and OSD embedded warping and blending functionalities, allowing them to be used with other projectors in a multi-channel set-up.
Operators can also benefit from an improved user interface, enables staff-friendly operation and efficient workflows.
Broad range of applications
Barco’s G60 and G62 projectors can be ideal for compact installations, with operators benefiting from the compact format and short-throw lenses of the G-series projector range. A point of interest for attractions, the G2 models will also be available in both black and a fully white chassis, to blend in where appropriate with different environments.
G60 projectors have been utilised by high-level customers in the museum sector including Infinity des Lumières in Dubai and the Memory Lane Museum Complex in Russia. Barco says that as part of its single-chip projection family, the G62s will offer customers “the same trusted recipe of stable performances and Barco expert guidance.”
A representative concludes the new projectors “enable improved creativity from simple day-to-day needs to more advanced installations. The G62s are a new choice for consistency enabling a broad Barco portfolio for the ProAV market with solutions for every budget.”
With EssentialCare service options, Barco customers can access G-series swap units with comparable brightness and lifetime, reducing response and replacement time, and decreasing exhibit downtime.
Last year, the tech company announced Barco XDM & XDX, native 4K quality projectors with RGB colour performance.
