Christie, the global visual and audio technology company, has announced the launch of the new Crimson HD31 and WU31 laser projectors, which deliver more brightness for the same price as the Crimson 25 models.

Christie is pleased to introduce the new Crimson Series of 3DLP laser projectors, which are available for the same price as the existing Crimson 25 models. They deliver 31,500 ISO lumens, with 60Hz processing power and Chrisie BoldColor Technology. The projectors also come in a small, durable package, ideal for rental, staging and fixed installation customers.

This new range also features the tried and tested Christie TruLife electronics, alongside the built-in warp and blend capabilities of Christie Twist. Furthermore, the addition of Christie Mystique will result in reduced multiple projector calibration times, which will save time and labour costs.

Reliable and vibrant

Technicians will appreciate the durability of the Crimson Series, which is compact, easy to handle and quick to install. The laser projectors also feature quiet operation and omnidirectional capabilities.

They include an IP5X sealed, solid-state laser light source, in order to provide years of reliable, low-cost, and virtually maintenance-free operation. The Crimson Series allows operators to produce a stunning range of visuals for theme parks, arenas and stadiums, entertainment venues, mega-events, public spaces, and more.

“The new Crimson models – which are both upgradeable to 120Hz – support both Christie Guardian for real-time automatic blended-image correction when content is playing, and the Christie Terra input card for seamless integration into SDVoE networks,” says Mike Garrido, senior product manager, Christie.

“We’ve designed it with 31,500 ISO lumens for the same prices as the Crimson 25 models, providing even greater value for our fixed install, rental and staging customers at no additional cost.”

Both are available now and come with a three-year part and labour warranty. Christie will be exhibiting at ISE 2020, from 11 – 14 February at the RAI in Amsterdam, and the team can be found at booth #1-H70.

Christie also recently announced that it has installed a range of products at the world’s first robot theme park in South Korea.
