Abu Dhabi‘s Yas Island is home to theme parks such as Ferrari World and Warner Bros. World.

Miral has partnered with Microsoft to launch a new generative AI service to enhance the visitor experience at Yas Island’s theme parks and experiences.

Yas Island in Abu Dhabi is an entertainment and leisure destination, home to theme parks such as Ferrari World Abu DhabiYas Waterworld and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.

The service was created to provide personalised help and information for visitors. It uses ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, through Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI Service.

These are augmenting the capabilities of chatbots for customer services for the first time in the UAE’s tourism and entertainment sector.

“We champion innovation at every step and believe that digital transformation is key to creating more compelling and personalized visitor propositions,” said Miral’s CEO Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi.

“Our collaboration with Microsoft is a testament to our relentless pursuit of delivering unique and memorable experiences to guests of all ages and nationalities – further positioning Yas Island as a top global destination for entertainment and leisure.”

Naim Yazbeck, Microsoft UAE’s general manager, said Miral “can better engage with their customers, providing them with a personalized and seamless experience”.

“We are proud to support Miral in their quest to deliver exceptional experiences to their customers,” Yazbeck added.

“Digital transformation is key”

Last month, Yas Island launched a new tourism campaign and announced Aquaman and Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa as its new chief island officer.

Meanwhile, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is opening on Yas Island on 23 May. The new theme park will include animal encounters, rides, entertainment, and retail and dining experiences.

Miral recently announced a new Harry Potter-themed land at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, a first in the Middle East.

“We are gradually increasing the number of attraction facilities on the island and raising its profile worldwide,” Al Zaabi told blooloop.
