Treyam includes a 450-metre-long rooftop infinity pool

Neom in Saudi Arabia has unveiled Treyam, a lagoon resort offering technology-enhanced health and wellness experiences.

Treyam is situated where the desert landscape meets the sea, Neom said in a press release. It is an “elevated haven in which to unwind, re-energize and enjoy majestic natural surroundings”.

Located across one of the most beautiful blue lagoons at the southern end of the Gulf of Aqaba, Treyam features bridge-like architecture to connect the northern and southern shores.

The 250-room resort provides panoramic views of the lagoon below, and the innovative façade of the bridge creates a sunset-like illusion from a distance.

Highlights at Treyam include a 450-metre-long rooftop infinity pool at 36 metres above the sea, as well as technology-enhanced health and wellness offerings and fitness amenities.

Last month, Neom unveiled a new wellness retreat called Elanan. Found on the Gulf of Aqaba coastline within oasis surroundings, Elanan is fed by ancient natural springs.

Neom is a $500 billion tourism development in northwest Saudi Arabia. Its other Gulf of Aqaba sites include Leyja, Epicon, Siranna, Utamo, Norlana, Aquellum, Zardun, and Xaynor.

The giga-project also boasts a luxury island called Sindalah, a zero-carbon city featuring “vertically layered” buildings named The Line, the Oxagon floating port city, and the Trojena ski resort.

Neom is making progress on Oxagon, Sindalah and The Line. Giles Pendleton, The Line’s chief operating officer, recently shared a selection of new images showcase the latest updates.

Alongside the images, he wrote on LinkedIn: “How to answer the naysayers about the incredible work being done in Neom? Show a cross section of the world’s largest building site from the mountains to the sea.”

He added, “Massive excavations on The Line, the future of island resorts on Sindalah and the next generation of ports and logistics at Oxagon.”
