Red Raion, the CGI studio specialized in media-based attractions, has announced a new partnership with Christie, the global visual and audio technology company. Red Raion will now be a supplier of content for the introduction of Christie’s new pure laser projection line.
A partner event at The Church in Orlando, Florida was organised by Christie, allowing the company to showcase one of its latest innovations, the Christie Griffyn RGB pure laser projector. For the event, it worked with Red Raion to make a showreel with scenes from its movies, such as Pinocchio – A Modern Tale, Miko and the Spell of the Stone, and Black Hole – The Multiverse War.
The aim was to show local design companies, integrators and theme parks partners the capabilities of this new projector, highlighting the colour reproduction of its pure laser technology.
An authority in the field of entertainment
“It’s a great honor to be chosen by Christie,” says Valeria Rizzo, PR and Business Development Director at Red Raion. “They are an authority in the field of entertainment, and the fact that they chose Red Raion’s movies to display their new projector’s full potential fills us with pride and joy. I hope we continue to collaborate to create powerful experiences for spectators all over the world!”
Larry Howard, Senior Sales Director, Entertainment, Christie, adds, “We are continually looking for new content that helps to highlight the performance advantages of our projectors. Working with Valeria and the Red Raion team, we chose some of their top quality productions that we felt would show the massive color volume capabilities of the Christie Griffyn RGB pure laser projector. We were thrilled with the results.”
Last month, Red Raion also announced a partnership with Italy’s number one theme park, Leolandia. The studio has produced the digital content for the park’s new museum attraction, inside a new area for children and families.
