UNIT9 Films partners with creative studio Woodblock

Move will strengthen the firm’s design and animation offering

UNIT9, the award-winning production & experience design studio, has announced that its UNIT9 Films division has partnered with Woodblock, a leading animation studio that counts brands such as Apple, Nike and Netflix among its clients.

This new partnership will strengthen UNIT9 Films’ design and animation offering, as Woodblock supports and complements its work in both the commercial and experiential space. Woodblock specialises in animation, motion design and 3D digital, making it an excellent counterpart to UNIT9 Films’ proven directorial and production credentials. As a result, the UNIT9 Films team will be able to offer its clients an expanded list of services.

Building on success of previous collaboration

Previously, the two companies worked together on a prominent 3D hoarding for Meta at Piccadilly Circus in London. The new collaboration creates new possibilities for cutting-edge content development at the intersection of creativity and technology.

Last year, UNIT9 partnered with LaLiga Entertainment – comprising LaLiga, PortAventura World and Kosmos – and COPA90 to launch a football-themed, GPS-enabled AR app, fusing the theme park experience with sport and gaming to elevate the in-park visit.
