HE Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak is a member of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi and the chairman of both Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism and Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC). The latter serves as master developer of major tourism, cultural and residential projects such as the Louvre Abu Dhabi.
As chairman of Miral Asset Management, he sits at the helm of an organisation with assets in excess of US$12 billion. Miral’s showpiece development is Yas Island. The world-class leisure and entertainment destination is already home to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, the F1 Yas Marina Circuit and soon Clymb, the world’s largest indoor skydiving tunnel and highest climbing wall.
The Yas Bay waterfront destination, a new 18,000-seat arena and the orca-free SeaWorld Abu Dhabi are set to open soon.
Al Mubarak is also chairman of twofour54, which ensures the growth and sustainability of the Emirate’s media industry and will have a new base at Yas Bay.
