Pasona Group Inc. has announced the opening of the first immersive Anime park ‘Nijigen no Mori’ on Japan’s Awaji Island.
The new attraction, in line with the ‘Cool Japan’ tourist campaign, is scheduled to open in July 2017.
Highlights include a 1.2km long projection mapping experience centred on Osamu Tezuka’s original Manga series, “Phoenix”.
The “Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park” will feature two adventure attractions based on the popular TV series, including a 210m zip-line.
The park will also feature glamping facilities were guests can make the most of the park’s natural environment and the island’s cuisine.
‘Nijigen no Mori’ is intended to boost tourism and tap into the global popularity of Manga and Anime.
