Disney has announced more firsts that will be introduced on the Disney Adventure when the ship departs from Singapore later this year.
At the Marvel Style Studio, visitors of all ages can enjoy hair, makeup, and clothing options that celebrate Marvel Super Heroes, including Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Thor, and Black Panther. During designated times throughout the cruise, this stylish venue will become an adult-only lounge featuring bookable beverage tastings.
Meanwhile, Marvel Landing features three superhero-themed attractions: Ironcycle Test Run, Pym Quantum Racers, and Groot Galaxy Spin.
Duffy, Princesses and more
Duffy and Friends are setting sail for the first time with an all-new show, character meet-and-greets, a unique retail store, and additional surprises.
Making its debut on the Disney Imagination Garden stage, “Duffy and The Friend Ship” invites guests on a journey filled with joy, inspiration, and brand-new original songs. Led by the seagull Tippy Blue, Duffy and Friends embark on an adventure to explore the seas.
Guests have the opportunity to meet Duffy and his friends for photos, as well as visit the Duffy and Friends Shop to explore items showcasing their favourite characters. Additionally, they can obtain a Duffy and Friends Discovery Quest guide. Throughout this ship-wide adventure, participants will follow clues to assist Duffy and his friends in locating their lost items and receive a unique commemorative gift.
The ship will host a royal tea party with Disney Princesses at the Royal Society for Friendship and Tea. This enchanting afternoon of treats, stories, and music teaches children about kindness, bravery, and determination. Each guest will take home society membership keepsakes.
Elsewhere, the popular Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will return to provide an enchanted salon experience for children aged 3 to 12, with magical makeovers that include a wide selection of costumes, hairstyling, makeup, and accessories.
A new show, Captain Jack Sparrow & The Siren Queen, will see Captain Jack Sparrow and his crew of pirates battling a giant squid and seeking a rare treasure.
Disney Adventure will be a “game-changer”
The Disney Adventure will be the first Disney Cruise Line ship for guests in Asia. It sets sail from Singapore on 15 December 2025. “The ship is set to be a game-changer,” said Sarah Fox, regional general manager for Southeast Asia at Disney Cruise Line (via the South China Morning Post).
“Every aspect of the ship has been thoughtfully crafted.”
The Disney Adventure has seven themed areas: Disney Imagination Garden, Toy Story Place, San Fransokyo Street, Town Square, Wayfinder Bay, Disney Discovery Reef and Marvel Landing.
The Disney Treasure made its maiden voyage at the end of last year. The two new ships are part of a massive expansion of Disney Cruise Line’s fleet, which includes the Disney Destiny, a new ship to sail from Japan, and four additional vessels.
