Disney CEO Bob Iger to Join Donald Trump’s Policy Forum

News

Disney CEO Bob Iger is to join President-elect Donald Trump’s policy forum in February.

The forum is an advisory group of cross sector business leaders chaired by Blackstone chairman Stephen A. Schwarzman.

In a statement, President-elect Trump said,  “This forum brings together CEOs and business leaders who know what it takes to create jobs and drive economic growth.”

Iger has been open about supporting the Democrats, however it has been reported he is optimistic that a smooth transition and a Republican presidency might be good for business.

Trump’s other advisors on the forum include leaders from the SEC, General Motors,  JPMorgan Chase & Co, BlackRock,  Boston Consulting Group,  Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.,  Boeing,  IBM,  EY and General Electric.
