Heritage USA has announced plans to turn the abandoned Dogpatch theme park in Arkansas into a family resort.
The company has confirmed that it is in the process of striking a deal to lease the land.David Hare from Heritage USA says the team is keen to preserve Dogpatch's history but also to give it a much-needed upgrade.
He adds that the new resort will be aimed at families and will also be home to production and broadcast studios.
