Fear the Walking Dead Survival opening soon in Las Vegas

Fear Walking Dead Survival

There will be zombies on Fremont Street when a new attraction opens this summer at the popular Las Vegas entertainment destination.

Fear the Walking Dead Survival, inspired by the hit AMC series, is a multi-sensory experience developed in partnership with Triotech. Thrillseekers and zombie fanatics are promised a unique combination of thrill ride, escape room, maze and interactive gaming. All this set against the horrors of a zombie apocalypse!

The attraction, located at the heart of Fremont Street Experience, will feature elaborate sets, audiovisual effects and motion simulator technology. Upon entering the experience, guests will find themselves in the setting of a temporary military facility inside a college. Here there are rumours of a zombie outbreak. Brave souls will have to explore multiple zones to face their fears and protect their lives against a bloodthirsty hoard of the infected. Visitors will need to utilise their survival skills and instincts to fight off the never-ending zombies. Hopefully they will escape back into the real world.

“Fremont Street Experience is always looking to create the optimum experience for our guests, including tourists and locals alike,” notes CEO and president, Patrick Hughes. “We’re excited to partner with Triotech, along with AMC. This new attraction will not only benefit downtown Las Vegas, but the city as a destination.”

Spread the Fear!

“We are delighted to give the passionate fans of Fear the Walking Dead such a unique experience that really captures the physical thrills and intensity of emotion of the series,” says Linda Schupack, executive VP of marketing for AMC and Sundance TV. “We hope that, in this instance, what happens in Vegas does not stay in Vegas and that visitors will spread the “Fear!”

Triotech is a Canadian company that is a leader in creating high profile, technologically-advanced interactive media-based award-winning attractions. In addition to its ubiquitous XD interactive theatres, it’s also worked on hit dark rides such at Ghostbsters 5D at Heide Park in Germany and Ninjajo The Ride at multiple Legoland parks. There are already Walking Dead attractions at Universal Studios Hollywood and Movie Park Germany, but this will be the first dedicated to the franchise Fear The Walking Dead.
